Pay Advancements for Assistants, Technicians, and Receptionists:
- Raises are dependent upon the employees eagerness and willingness to learn new job skills.
- 50 cents per hour raise after completion and receiving a passing grade of initial training test (test is made available to the employee near end of 60 days of employment).
- Further raises are available upon receiving passing grades of additional training courses. Traditionally, these raises are 25 cents per hour after passing the test for the course.
Requirements Of All Teammates
We are a team based, customer service oriented hospital.
- All team members are required to attend weekly Wednesday morning, customer service and team meetings.
- Participation in team activities is required.
- Adherence to our dress code is mandatory also (we call our dress code our "Standards of Appearance").

Note: monogrammed scrub tops, pants, and polo shirts are provided to you at no charge. Team members are responsible for providing their own white shoes.
As a team, we have agreed to the following Standards of Appearance. We feel they are important so that we appear professional to the excellent people we serve, our clients.
Our intention is to be able to deliver our important messages to our clients while reducing distractions. Appearances outside of our standard run the risk of distracting our clients when we communicate with them. Being able to deliver our message helps our patients.
Uniform
- A clean complete approved uniform must be worn at all times which consists of blue scrubs with white polo shirt underneath and white shoes, and a SMILE.
- The uniform is to be clean (no spots) when you come to work.
- No additional personal wear is to be worn with the uniform; i.e., sweaters over the uniform, hats, scarves, etc.
Jewelry
- Bracelets/Chains/Wristwatches, Rings, Necklaces, Pins/Broaches or Earrings: No extreme styles. We do not want to distract the client from hearing what you are saying.
- NO ear rings for males. No more than three sets of ear rings for women.
- No facial jewelry will be permitted.
Fingernails
- Men's fingernails not to exceed 1/8" from the finger tip.
- Women's fingernails should not to be too long that they interfere with doing your job.
Make-up
- Make-up should compliment normal skin tones. No extreme make-up
- Nail polish, lipstick, which compliment normal skin tones.
Hair
- Face clean-. Mustaches neatly trimmed.
- No beards or mustaches may be grown while working.
- Hair to be worn in a natural style, close to the head. It should be neatly combed and attractively arranged so that it doesn't interfere with your job duties. The face should be open(not hidden by hair). If hair is worn down and is shoulder length or longer then it needs to be tucked behind the ears so clients can see you face. Teased hairstyles will not be permitted. All hair color must be of a natural color. Extremes in dyeing, bleaching, tinting, frosting, streaking, and any unnatural hair color (platinum, beige, pink, green, purple, etc.) will not be permitted.
Neatness
- Shirts and blouses must be tucked in at all times.
Hygiene
- Deodorant must be worn at all times.
- Hands must be washed whenever necessary to ensure proper sanitation.
Eyeglasses
- Eyeglasses must be conservative in design. Sunglasses or heavily tinted glasses will not be permitted.
Tattoos
- Visible tattoos are not permitted.
Shoes
- It is the responsibility of the employees to furnish white shoes.
- Closed-toed shoes are a must.
- Shoes should not be extravagant in style and should match clothing.
Doctors Standards of Appearance
Male Doctors, more specific requirements
- The male doctors must wear dress pants, a button-up shirt with a tie, black shoes
- A white lab coat should be worn over the outfit.
- Their hair must be short (above the collar), worn away from their face, and above the eyebrows.
- They must wear a stethescope around their neck.
- They must look professional.
Female Doctors, more specific requirements
- The female doctors must wear either dress pants, skirt (should be knee length) or a dress.
- They should wear a dress shirt and dress shoes (no heel) to match their bottoms.
- A white lab coat should be worn over outfit.
